It's me, Layne. I created The Pinay Chic Blog to express my hidden interest in beauty, wellness and fashion. I was inspired by famous bloggers like Laureen and Kryz Uy, sisters Vern and Verniece Enciso and Kisty Mea of Kisty.net.

I am a working Pinay, someone who has little time to spend on beauty rituals before bedtime. At night, I have to push myself too just to face the mirror and wash my face. Why is it so hard to look good? I asked myself :) But I have to do it or else I would look like a damsel in distress the following morning.

So to motivate myself, I thought it is time to give attention to my growing fond of beauty and wellness products. Through this blog I will share with you my adventures as I try and explore different skin care products, techniques and routines.
